Morris Family Pictures 2010

This is us. This is as good as it gets!!
Still in love after 10 great years of marriage. There isn't anything I would trade for my life with him! He has been everything I have ever wanted in a husband and more.
Kamron is such a good boy. He has really become a huge help with his siblings.
I wish I could freeze time and have him stay this age forever!
...and...Could this boy get any more handsome?

Miranda is all girl. Definitely the princess of the house!
Having a girl sure adds another dimension to our home. She is full of personality and spunk!

Can you tell I am proud to have a daughter?

Cade.....He is doing better all the time.
He is pure in heart, special in spirit, and as perfect as he can be.
We love him the way he is. He makes us better people.
I can't imagine our lives without him.
Thanks Cade, for teaching us so much and helping us get back to our heavenly home.

Spread the Word...

One of my young women asked if she could interview me and Cade for a school assignment. She made this touching video.

Another update soon!!!

OK, so I am trying not to have peeks and valleys in my blogging habits. It will be a New Year's resolution to at least update monthly.

I promise to post the Holidays soon!! Merry Christmas!!

Cade's Kindergarten Zoo Trip

Cade and Aden, they're buddies.

I got to go hang out with Cade and his class at the Phoenix Zoo today! I had fun!

Family Home Evening

Good job boys!!!
Miranda is concentrating so hard!
Where are your pants kid? Who are your parents anyway? Didn't anyone tell them it is November? We all helped put our old trampoline together for FHE. The kids are getting big enough to help out with things. It's kind of crazy. We had fun jumping and wrestling on the tramp afterwards.
FHE is always fun in the Morris home. Except when we are trying to teach the 30 second lesson. ''Can you guys just sit still for one minute?!!!.......in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

Waiting for the bus...

Sometimes waiting for the bus is fun. We get to have some special time together. I love my Cade!!
Cade is in Kindergarten. He is doing a great job there too! I am so proud of him. We still do therapy in the home 6 days a week. That makes for a busy life. It is all worth it though! He is making progress. Keep it up buddy!

Takin' the day off...

We were just chillin' with Mom all day today! Usually things are busy in our neck of the woods. Some would call our house Grand Central Station!! They are right! But, today....we took the day off to hang out! These days are more needed than I realize sometimes. I recommend it!

Youth Conference @ Camp LoMia--November 2009

This was discovered on the tarp of our addie!! Traci Ahlstrom was my best friend in high school. Funny to find her name in our addie. Good times! I do agree Trace...Westwood Rocks! '95 holy cow.... I am getting old!!

OK It's updated!!!!

So I kind of fell off the face of the earth. Sorry. Things have been really busy around here. To tell you the truth other things have been consuming my thoughts. I got a new calling in February. I am the Young Women's President. I am loving being back in the YW program and have a huge testimony of it. So...there....that explains it.

We are all doing well. WE have been sick this week but are on the mend.

Kam is playing baseball again this season and is doing great. He finally gets to play on a team with his buddies. This is the first time. He is having a blast. Scott is the assistant coach. He is having fun too. He is such a big kid.

Miranda loves the Princess dollies. The plastic figurine type. She has a big castle in her room that she plays with throughout the day. I can't wait to take her to Disneyland!!!

Cade is doing great with therapy. His Speech therapist and Behavioral Analyst is back from San Francisco. WOW WE MISSED HER!!!! She has been a huge blessing for our family and we love her. The Lord has always taken care of Cade and makes sure he has constant steady progress. We are so grateful for that!

Scott and I leave for our fist cruise on Wednesday. We are going to Ensenada. Pray for us. We are a little bit nervous about the Swine Flu that has killed 68 people in Mexico City. I have been so excited to go up until the time I heard about this flu. Now I am a little scared. I'm sure we will be fine. I just wish I didn't have to worry about anything.

Now you know what we have been doing.......And our blog is officially updated......Later.......

Can I please get out of this MONKEY suit?

I have fun dressing my kids up for church! I was lucky Cade kept that suit on.

Christmas Morning

The beauty queen and her daddy...

Scott gave me the best present ever! He had my wedding ring fixed. The stone had been loose and I have not been able to wear it for 6 months . I have hated it. But now....the ring looks more beautiful than the day he gave it to me. Oh and by the way....
HE WENT TO JARED!
Sorry, I just had to say that. Ha,ha...
Go ahead, put it all on! Everything you got.

Cade doesn't care for opening presents much. He just ran in and out periodically to check in. We loved that!

Kam's new jacket.

Mom wrapped this one good!

Still going....

Brea got Miranda a scoot along bus.

Our New bikes!

Cade really does like his bike. He just likes the t.v. too. Maybe too much.
this year Santa brought Cade and Miranda trikes. Santa found them on Craigslist for a whopping total of $35.00 for both of them.

This was the best still shot I got of Cade all day. He was busy playing.

Miranda saw this bike at the store and asked for it every time she saw it. EVERY TIME! Good thing Santa didn't have to pay 50.00 for it. She loves it.

Family Photo--one for the books

Sadly enough we don't go get family pictures done. We snap a shot whenever the kids all have all their clothes on, then Mom does some cropping action, and then we call it good. This one made the official "Family Photo" list. I am just glad we are all looking at the camera and have no fingers in noses. Whew!

Saturday, Dec. 20th, 2008 The Porter Family Christmas Party

This is the anual Porter Family Christmas party. Great Grandma Porter labors every year to get us all together. We are greatful she does because otherwise we would never see the extended family at all some years. Fortunatelly for these little beauties their mommies and daddies have been good about getting together.
There are 4 little girl cousins who are going to be bestest buddies. There is one missing though. Ella Rose was at the cookie table with her brother Rex. She's no dummy. Friends shmends.

Stuck together like all night. (Miranda & cousin Ameliah)

Amelah, Miranda, and the shoeless wonder, Kinley.

These little girls were the life of the party. How could they not be. They are adorable.
