While Melanie and Ricky have been here there has definitely been visiting! Lots of visiting! WE LOVE HAVING FAMILY HERE!! They are stoping in on theway to take Ricky up to BYU. He starts slases on Monday! He said that he wanted to se his cousins on the way!finally feel like a portion of the family void has been filled! Benny even came! That never happens. Now if we could just get Curt's family to agree to come! WOW, that would be a dream come true! We sure miss their kids!

We have been having so much fun! We hung out until 10:30 at night! Mel and Ricky were so tired! We had to get a few hands of "go fish" in. Kam is the reigning champ!

The boys have really loved Ricky! He has been such a good sport!

Waiting for the Bus!!


Today Cade was comfortably waiting for the bus!! We got him his Dr. Pepper, Game Boy, and grapes. We must have made him TOO comfortable because when the bus finally came, he didn't want to go! Ha.

Cade has been doing so well in school! He goes to the same school as big brother Kam and his classroom is right across the hall. He loves knowing that he is at the same school as Kam. They meet in the hall after the bell rings and come out to meet me together! There is nothing better than that. Kam has been instrumental in Cade's progress and is very lucky to have him as his big brother!

Now. . .back to the bus! Cade has a little friend that he sits next to! His name is Adriane. Adriane gets excited to see Cade and usually shouts out, " SIT HERE!" Cade climbs up and, in his own way, greets him. Today Cade said ,"HI,"while looking Adriane in the eyes! Then, Adriane, babbled something and snuggled up to Cade, while looking over his shoulder to watch him play his Game Boy! Together, playing and watching until arriving at school. Mrs. Sandra, Cade's teacher said that that interaction continues throughout the class time! - - For those of you don't know, social interaction is one of the major delays Autistic children have. This spontaneous social interaction is HUGE! Somehow, these two boys have found each other reinforcing enough to attempt to do something that is very hard for them. Making a friend! WOW, the things we are thankful for! GOOD JOB BUDDY!

After almost 8 years I still wake up EVERYDAY thankful that I chose him! I could not have asked for a better eternal companion!

When I was a kid I always use to say I wanted to marry someone like my Uncle Rick! I sure did! I am grateful to my Aunt Melanie and Uncle Rick who, by there example, helped me KNOW what I wanted my marriage to be like!!

I am happy to have the life I imagined. I never imagined being a movie star or having a vacation home in Spain but I did imagine being married to my best friend!

This little girl is funner than any barbie doll I ever had as a kid! Miranda loves to get up and get ready in the morning! The first thins she says is ,"Dress on. Boots on." By the age of 20 months she began having a preference of clothes and shoes. Wow! she is all girl!

Grandma Shop

We have the best Grandma in the world! She visits and plays every week! We can't wait for her to come over. Thanks Grandma for showing us everyday how much you love us!

In our family, we like to play! We jump on the trampoline daily!! Sometimes we can even drag Mom out there too. This time it was Cade's turn. He likes to fly. He has incredible balande and rarely ever falls! Good job flying buddy.

This is our little angel. Miranda Morris (age 2). Really, she is part devil. She sure is cute though. She was a breath of fresh air for me after two boys. But don't get me wrong, she is equally as busy, just with different things. She is my baby doll. We play dress up every day. I hope that one day when I am old, she will still be my best friend! :) I love you Sippy Sue!
